
Meet Allison
Allison is a speech language pathologist who received her Bachelor of Arts in Hearing and Speech Sciences from University of Maryland and her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Boston University. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology through American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed in the states of New York and New Jersey.

Allison has worked with individuals of all ages in a variety of settings, including inpatient and subacute rehabilitation, long-term care, and outpatient clinics, but has found her passion with working with individuals with acquired neurological disorders. Allison loves to collaborate with clients, their families, and the entire interdisciplinary team to provide client-centered care to help them reach their individual goals through functional and meaningful treatment activities while optimizing quality of life. Her creativity, enthusiasm, and approachability fosters a positive and supportive therapeutic environment for clients. She has experience working with aphasia, dysarthria, cognitive-communication disorder, apraxia, dysphagia, expressive and receptive language disorders, and articulation disorders.
